Raka Quinary 2004

This melange of varietals (Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot) was something I picked up per chance. And what a delight! This blend is slightly woody on the nose, with a dash of berries on the side. It is slightly tannic, slightly acidic on the tongue, with flavours of berries, oak, and even cherries! It has probably the longest tail of any wine I've had before, with the a light bitter taste staying till the end (but a quite pleasant bitter funny enough!). This is a very good wine for it's price.
