Raka Quinary 2005
Like the 2004 vintage, this number from Raka is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Very nice nose consisting of cherries, berries and a bit of oak. Less tannic than the '04, with very nice taste of berries, hedgerow fruit, cherry, plum and blackcurrent. Very nice and long tail, ending off with a hint of alcohol. Not quite as nice as the '04, but still a very good wine.
