Deep red with pink rim. This little number from the Sadie family hits the nose with nice red fruit, spice, herbs and some oak, then bats the tastebuds for a six with fruit concentration. Some generous oak and a nice finish of herbs and spices with silky smooth tannins. Some sweetness that is quite typical of the Swartland. A very special wine pitched at a very attractive price, and one of my favourites tasted in 2012. At R120 per bottle this stuff is practically free...
