Bilton Matt Black 2007
Bilton wines exports almost all of its wine. This red blend of seemingly almost everything (even though its largely Cabernet Sauvignon based), has a red colour with pink rim. On the nose it comes on strong with raspberry and generous oak. This is also delivered on the palate with fairly soft and sweet tastes of raspberries and oak (think Sparletta Raspberry cooldrink fermented in oak!). A pleasant wine you could probably drink at any time, although it can be a bit acidic.
