Paul Cluver Pinot Noir 2008

Very light red in colour, with an even lighter rim. Typical cool climate wine aromas on the nose, with lots of red fruit and a bit of cherries. This Pinot Noir is light on the tongue, with very nice red berries and a hint of cherries. A slight taste of oak, with a very short tail of fruit. You can ALMOST taste the champagne (even though it's not a bubbly, you can surely see why most champagne is made from Pinot Noir, it doesn't get more easy and light than this!). Nice tannins, could probably age a few years.
