How to build an IoT environment on JOSE

1. Set up VM on JOSE (Openstack base)
   1. Login to Dashboard
   2. Set up VM from image
   3. Set up network and assign floating IP
   4. Set up key-pair for login
   5. Start VM
2. Collecting sensor information on your VM
   1. Login to your VM
   2. Test fluentd with fluend-festival-stdout.conf
   3. run fluentd in tests as
      1. fluentd -c ~/fluentd/fluent-festival-stdout.conf -v
   4. initialize elasticsearch db as
      1. cd ~/elasticsearch curl -XPUT 'http://localhost:9200/festival' curl -XPUT 'http://localhost:9200/festival/iot_gateway/_mapping' -d @iot_gateway-mapping.json
      2. config fluentd for elasticsearch with
      3. fluentd -c ~/fluentd/fluent-festival-elasticsearch.conf -v
   5. you can access file from here.
   6. 6. make it run background and disown so that it can run continuously.
   7. 7. Access kibana from your browser.
   8. 8. Visualize !!!
