Please note that ANY video that has repeat footage will result in an automatic 10 point deduction via creativity. You have about 8 months to get this project done. Each year it is assigned the first week of school and due the first day back from Spring Break. The project should be done well. The "normal" creativity grade is 20/25. That is simply a basic intro/outro and a video that tells a story (often some kind of montage). To raise the grade, you need the story to really match the lyrics (often making them school appropriate) and go above and beyond (like the videos posted).
Here are links to some sample song projects that did really well in previous years...
True story: https://youtu.be/Lybs8uGYyRc This video told her "Ninth grade introduction to Spanish Story."
Breaking the rubric: https://youtu.be/LpLJBzjUGqc This video allowed a student that had struggled in the day to day to show he had learned a lot and he showcased his musical talents that no one at school knew he had until then.
Paper slide show: https://youtu.be/lYg1o13LSWc Note that this had repeat footage and resulted in an automatic deduction but it was still an amazing project and some points were earned back because it went "above and beyond."
My student for 3 years, nostalgic: https://youtu.be/igOqy95Zyhw This project told her "Enloe Story."
My student for 2 years, also nostalgic: https://youtu.be/lyrFLH3nXKU This project technically had a loop but it made sense in the context of the video, which was also over 10 minutes.
Goofy but creative: https://youtu.be/tEQ92pcAyA4 This student had struggled in class but he put his heart and soul into the project and earned tremendous respect from his peers.
