signing Up for an Event

1. Join our Google Classroom to get updates on when the website is updated so you do not have to constantly keep checking the website

2. New events will be posted in the Events tab. Here, you will find more information and the Google Form to sign up.

3. When the Total Hours tab is updated, we will post on classroom. If your name appears on the list, you have been selected for the event.

4. If you are on the list, send an email to sbvikingvolunteers@gmail.com confirming that you can attend the event.

    • If you do not confirm within 2 days after the names are posted, you will be replaced.

    • If you cancel later than 2 days before the event, you will get one strike.

    • If you confirm that you are coming, but do not come to the event, you will get one strike.

    • If you do not act appropriately at an event, you will get anywhere between one and three strikes.

    • If you receive more than three strikes, your name will be removed from the Membership Directory, and you will not get credit for this club.

5. Strikes are not public to everyone, but please be aware that we do keep track of them in our records. If you have any questions regarding the number of strikes you have, please email us.

6. Only those who are present on the Total Hours page prior to the event will be given hours, so please make sure you are on the list before attending an event. If you are a replacement for someone else, then please let the event leader know.
