COVID 19 PSA

Hi everyone! We hope you are all staying safe during these uncertain times!

We have a few announcements regarding the club requirements you must fulfill in order for Viking Volunteers to appear on your transcript this year. Please read the following carefully and email us if you have any questions:

Meetings:

• The meeting requirement will remain 5 meetings!

Hours:

• The hour requirement HAS BEEN REDUCED from 10 hours to 7 hours.

• You will receive 2 hours for attending Paint Night.

• You will receive 1 hour for every virtual meeting attended.

  • This includes the March 24th Webquest, the April 7th google form, and any plans we have for April 21st, etc.

For those of you who have less than 7 hours, we will be posting various opportunities for you to earn the hours and fulfill your hour requirement! We have and will post various donation opportunities that can earn you hours depending on the amount you donate.

NOTE: You are not required in any way to make donations, but we want to give you the chance to give back to the community while staying safe at home. Any amount helps!

If you have exceeded 7 hours, you have met the hour requirement! You are free to continue to participate in virtual meetings and make donations in order to increase the number of hours you earn at the end of the year.

In-Person Events:

• Attending Paint Night will count as attending 1 in-person event.

We are going to make updates to the membership directory within the next few weeks, but please be patient. We have a lot of members and changes so updating the directory will take a while.
