Description: FBLA and VV will be hosting a book drive throughout this week. If you have any books that you would like to donate, you will have the opportunity to drop them off in boxes at Ms. Marcella's office in SPS. The books must be in entirely good condition in order to count for hours. Read below to see the details for the event.

Date: January 24th-28th

Location: Ms. Marcella's office (SPS)

***Act of Service:

  • Each book must come with a handwritten note. This note must be on nice paper and legible, or you will not get credit. It doesn't have to be fancy but it cannot be messy.

  • This note can include anything about the book, including your favorite line, character, or quote, but should NOT contain any spoilers

  • The note must be 75-100 words in order to receive credit. It must fit inside the cover of the book as well.

  • **IF DONATING 15+ BOOKS you do NOT need to submit notes along with them. Donations greater than 15 books will be seen as a collection and will therefore be exempt from the act of service. For collections, ask friends and families

Hours:

  • 5 books and notes/1 hour

  • 10-14 books and notes/2 hours

  • 15+ books (NO notes)/2 hours

*There will be a CAP at 2 HOURS. Any donations greater than 10 books will receive 2 hours regardless of the number of books donated.
