Social Media Symposium: H ‘Appy’ Time

Time: 8:30AM-12:30PM

Location: Crossroads North MS

# of Volunteers: 12-14 students

Volunteer hours: 8 (4 planning hour and 4 event hours)

Responsibilities: Student volunteers interested will serve as student Tech Specialists on a social media platform/app. Students are asked to submit a list a social media apps that they actively use and feel most comfortable speaking about with students/parents. (e.g.- Snapchat, Group Texts, House Party, What’s App, Group Me, TikTok, Instagram, etc. ) Students selected will work with a partner and prepare a mini display/basic information/overview of one social media platform. Students will be able to answer questions from students/parents about use, features, etc.
