Litter patrol

Description: Cleaning up trails and roads. Look at the list of trails and the map and clean as many of them as you can.

Date: Saturday, February 19th, 2022 and Sunday, February 20th, 2022

Hours: 10 AM - 12 PM

Location: Watershed Institute (31 Titus Mill Rd, Pennington, NJ 08534)

Dress Code: Wear clothing and shoes you don't mind getting dirty in! Please make sure you dress in layers, wear long pants tucked into socks, and bring a reusable water bottle! You may also want to bring gardening gloves to protect your hands.

# of Volunteers: 15-20 per day

Important Notes: Once you are selected for the event, you will have to print out a waiver and bring the completed waiver with you to the event.

Directions: Once you arrive, stop by the Watershed Center to pick up reflective vests and garbage bags from Tom. These will need to be returned before you leave


Trails to clean up:

1. Titus Mill Road (from Pennington-Rocky Hill Road to when the road crosses the Stony Brook)

2. Pennington-Rocky Hill Road (a short stretch around where the road crosses the Honeybrook - our property should be marked)

3. Wargo Road (from Titus Mill Road to Moores Mill-Mount Rose Road)

4. Moores Mill-Mount Rose Road (from Wargo Road until it crosses the Stony Brook - that’s the second stream after it crosses the Honeybrook - before the road reaches Applewood/Timberbrook Drives)

5. Crusher Road (from about where it intersects Hopewell Princeton Road to about 150 Crusher Rd - JW Actor’s Studio

6. Wargo Pond
