Papercut
Papercut
Papercut is a fake SMTP server, designed to receive messages only, that developers can run in their own machine.
Verified in Windows 7. It can be downloaded from [https://github.com/ChangemakerStudios/Papercut].
Configuration
By default it listens on local addresses, port 25. Configuration can be changed (many anti-virus programs block connections to port 25).
Message files in .eml format can be found right-clicking the message entry in Papercut and choosing "Open Containing Folder...".
These .eml files can be opened and viewed (including attachments) using Mozilla Thunderbird [https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/all/].
