Phil Harris and Alice Faye Show Errors

461103 1st Song Abraham s/b Fitch Bandwagon 421220 1st Song Abraham

46/12/08  Emery's Musicale s/b Emily's Musicale (Fitch Bandwagon)

471214 047 Presents For Fitch Stockholders was 461215 12 A Present for Phil

48-05-09 Mother's Day is misdated. This episode was sponsored by Rexall, and Rexall did not begin sponsoring the show until October 1948. It should be dated 490508.

48-05-23 Back From Lake Arrowhead was 461208 Emily's Musicale. I think 461208 is right b/c they refer to the weather being cold and the end announcement says to tune into the show next week, but 48-05-23 would have been the last show of the season. Also, 461208 is part of a run of shows, but 480523 is an isolated episode.

48-11-21 Health Food Diet was 48-12-05 Frankie Borrows The Kids (Both shows are available)

50-03-26 67 The Last Day in Palm Springs is an exact duplicate of  50-04-02 68 Frankie and the Flying Saucers.  50-04-02 is correct b/c Phil Harris was on both his show and the Lucky Strike Program (Jack Benny show) at the same time, so when Jack traveled, Phil traveled. 1. Jack broadcasted from Palm Springs on 500326 and 500402. The opening of the show says that it is the Harris' last day in Palm Springs would make more sense for 500402. 2. Radiogold index confirms the 500402 date and title and has nothing for 500326. The correct 50-03-26 is Alice's Palm Springs Weekend. The program exists.

50-04-16 Tickets to South Pacific. Jerry H. gives a date of 50-04-16. Radiogoldindex gives a date of 50-05-28. I believe radiogold is right on this one and here is why. If you listen to end of the program, Phil Harris comes on the air to announce that the show is broadcasting from Cleveland as part of a Jack Benny road show. If you listen to the 50-04-16 episode of Jack Benny there is no mention of being in Cleveland, but if you listen to the 50-05-28 Jack Benny, it is announced that they are indeed in Cleveland.

50-04-23 Darryl Zanuck's Dinner Party was 50-04-30 New Secretary. The correct 50-04-23 begins "Today things are rather quiet in the Harris household..." and advertises Sam Spade and National Velvet as coming up next.

50-04-23 Phil's Secretary (aka Phil Puts on Cinderella) was 50-04-30. End of show advertises Doug Fairbanks on Theater Guild. He appeared on 50-04-30. The opening of the show gives Rexall sale dates that confirms the date. The correct 50-04-30 begins "Like a lot of ..., Phil hates to answer correspondence"

50-11-26 Investment in a Female Wrestler s/b The Big Game on a New Television

51-02-13 Tomorrow Is Valentines Day s/b 49-02-13  (the opening says it is Sunday)

521123 Chloe, the Gold Digger was 530419

52-12-21 Phil Plays Santa Claus had a Rexall commercial tacked on the end. The show was sponsored by RCA Victor at the time and the volume level of the commercial is different.

53-12-11 Jessica You're Draggin' Your Neck should be Jessica You're Draggin' Your Net. This is a play on the name of Jessica Dragonette.
