John Matthew Fabian's DUI on drugs while driving recklessly arrest Just after midnight right outside of Tulsa, Oklahoma on Sunday February 21st 2016. https://arrestfacts.com/John-Fabian-6s5t05 and also posted here, https://mugshots.com/US-States/Oklahoma/Tulsa-County-OK/Austin/John-Matthew-Fabian.129412765.html and http://tulsamugs.com/?s=JOHN%20MATTHEW%20FABIAN The general consensus of those that have seen Fabian's mugshot feel that he was high on cocaine and other drugs such as Xanax at the time of his arrest. The evidence shows that Fabian threw a bunch of money at this DUI on drugs arrest to hide that substance abuse arrest history, including having it scrubbed from a Google Search and was only found using the alternative search engine, Duckduckgo. It should be noted that pilots and air traffic controllers have to report ANY DUI arrest, even if the charges were dropped, expunged, and even if the arrest was not warranted with a BAC of 0.0 and passed a drug test. https://pilot-protection-services.aopa.org/news/2022/april/01/the-notorious-18v and https://pilot-protection-services.aopa.org/news/2022/october/01/question-18v
In fact according to prominent Aviation Attorney Joe LoRusso, if a pilot mistakenly forgets to list this not thinking they have to due to acquittal and expungement, They can lose their medicals and even their pilot ratings https://pilot-protection-services.aopa.org/news/2023/january/01/a-case-study-in-honesty
It makes no sense that John Matthew Fabian was approved to be a HIMS practitioner, which is someone that identifies and treats pilots and air traffic controllers that has a alcohol and/or substance abuse problem. https://himsprogram.com/ and for John Matthew Fabian to be the only FAA approved psychologist for all of Central Texas. One would assume that the FAA is suppose to conduct a background check on its 3rd party contractors, however at least with John Matthew Fabian, this clearly was not the case. LoRusso also stated in a private conversation that Fabian was potentially blacklisted by the FAA where The Aeromedical Devision does not read his biased and incorrect reports, however the FAA will not revoke his HIMS practitioner status nor will inform the pilots of his backlisted status. What is more disturbing is the evidence that points out to the fact that John Matthew Fabian is not an isolated "bad apple." with regards to "FAA approved 3rd party" mental health specialists, but a deeply rooted problem with the entire program infested with "an orchard of bad apples."
