The reality of Shawn Grate is that he was a cold and calculated serial killer. He also was smart enough to not let his ego get in the way once he got caught in an attempt to avoid the death penalty. This is a stark contrast with with Serial Killer Ted Bundy who was offered a plea deal for life in prison and refused which lead to his death row sentence and execution. Grate in contrast fully confessed to every murder he was accused of, as documented in the Law & Crime Networks "Prime Crime" It also disproves John Matthew Fabian's testimony where he claims that Shawn Grate has the intellect of a child.

Shawn Grate goes into detail how he strangled his victims.
47 seconds https://youtu.be/tCeB4tZ1aGw?t=47 hosts says the focus on serial killers is the worst of the worst and Shawn Grate is just that.
1 min 44 sec https://youtu.be/tCeB4tZ1aGw?t=104 attorney Dina Dolls says what Grate did was horrifying and a miracle his victim got lose and got to a phone
2min 56 sec https://youtu.be/tCeB4tZ1aGw?t=176 narrator says that Grate was already a convicted felon and had subsequent arrests for domestic violence and burglary
3 min 8 sec https://youtu.be/tCeB4tZ1aGw?t=188 clinical psychologist Katherine Kuhlman says Grate has a history since he was a child of being violent towards women that has escalated over time.
What should be noted is that even though "Prime Crime" showed clips of the Shawn Grate Trial, it did not show any of John Matthew Fabian's testimony or even reference Fabian because his testimony claimed that Grate had the intellect of a child and was not calculated in his acts.
3 min 23 sec https://youtu.be/tCeB4tZ1aGw?t=203 Grate's confessions to law enforcement go into great detail and could not be generated by someone who was either intellectually challenged or had a conscious.
4 min 27 sec https://youtu.be/tCeB4tZ1aGw?t=267 Kuhlman stated Grate had "anti-social personality disorder" with lack or remorse and empathy as well as sexual sadism. Grate got pleasure from the pain or others
5 min 13 sec https://youtu.be/tCeB4tZ1aGw?t=313 second combined anti-social personality disorder with sexual sadism is incredibly dangerous and nearly impossible to treat.
9 min 28 sec https://youtu.be/tCeB4tZ1aGw?t=568 Grate demonstrates with great detail on a detective how he killed his victims
10 min 3 sec https://youtu.be/tCeB4tZ1aGw?t=603 Kuhlman says that Grate enjoys the power he was over the control of people.
10 min 53 sec https://you tu.be/tCeB4tZ1aGw?t=653 narrator asks why would Grate confess in great detail.
11 min https://youtu.be/tCeB4tZ1aGw?t=660 says once he got caught he could not kill anymore and he enjoyed the control and manipulation he had so this was one way he could keep that going.
Which is something an individual of only great intelligence could knowingly accomplish
13 min 54 sec https://youtu.be/tCeB4tZ1aGw?t=834 Grate is not a typical serial killer, he's a sexual sadist power and control serial killer who escalates over time because "the high isn't as good as it used to be"
17 min https://youtu.be/tCeB4tZ1aGw?t=1020 Grate manipulated his victim claiming he had a shared interest in religion to lure her to his trap house. Clearly Grate had the mental capacity to do this
20 min 7 sec https://youtu.be/tCeB4tZ1aGw?t=1207 Grate plead guilty to 15 of the 23 charges and the jury convicted him of the rest, then the jury had to determine if they sentenced him to death. Mark R Weaver felt strongly that the evidence would lead to a sentence to death and refused to offer a plea deal which Grate would have accepted.
20 min 19 sec https://youtu.be/tCeB4tZ1aGw?t=1219 attorney Dina Dolls states that the thing that scared Grate the most was being put to death by the state.
21 min https://youtu.be/tCeB4tZ1aGw?t=1260 narrator states that Grate has been fighting his death sentence. The Ohio Supreme Court has upheld his conviction and penalty. Dolls stated that while Grate's Council was grossly incompetent not even raising basic objections, the evidence to convict was overwhelming. Doll says that the Grate being allowed to hire a new attorney delays the execution date to a point that Ohio may no longer employ the death penalty. Grate is knowingly doing this on purpose to at the very least delay the execution date.
22 min 4 sec https://youtu.be/tCeB4tZ1aGw?t=1324 narrator calls Grate the epitome of evil
Another video created by Youtube Channel "That Chapter" goes into further detail as to how Grate tried to game the legal system to avoid the death penalty.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0QgKBbkyb0
24 sec https://youtu.be/l0QgKBbkyb0?t=24 narrator calls the Grate case disturbing and terrifying. That grate killed his victims between 2005 and 2016
12 min 9 sec https://youtu.be/l0QgKBbkyb0?t=729 Grate's attorneys' entered a plea not guilty by reason of insanity to the 23 charges after he confessed to the police and press. Not only does this show that Grate was trying to get notoriety from his crimes, it also shows his intentions to manipulate the legal system including that of his attorneys' to garner a favorable outcome from the courts including avoiding the death penalty.
12 min 33 seconds https://youtu.be/l0QgKBbkyb0?t=753 Grate wrote two letters two a journalist in "careful cursive" apologizing for sloppiness because he had to write with a small pencil. This is indicative that Grate was a perfectionist and was also very methodical, something that someone with a "broken brain" and the intellect of a 12 year old would not, or could not do.
13 min 20 sec https://youtu.be/l0QgKBbkyb0?t=800 Grate in his letter to the journalist blamed "government assistance for taking the minds of his victims." as a way of deliberately trying to play into the insanity plea
13 min 54 sec https://youtu.be/l0QgKBbkyb0?t=834 both the defense and prosecutions jointly request a gag order on Grate to prevent him from talking to the press because he was telling the media one thing and the judge another as a way to claw back control of the case from Grate.
14 min 42 sec https://youtu.be/l0QgKBbkyb0?t=882 grate admits at trial he knows right from wrong.
15 min 56 sec https://youtu.be/l0QgKBbkyb0?t=956 Jury finds Grate guilty beyond a reasonable doubt and sentenced him to death. They were not swayed one bit by what John Matthew Fabian presented below
Fabian's Testimony
32min 15 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=1935 Fabian claims his testing shows lacking of executive function and blames ADHD. As you read above, Grate hardly lacked executive function because he was methodical in his actions and even tried to manipulate the legal system to avoid the dearth penalty. This however is John Matthew Fabian's M.O, basically he lumps everyone in the same boat, your brain is broken because Fabian said so.
34 min 2 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=2042 Fabian makes an excuse for looking up the parents claiming "The defendants are not born in a bubble" Weaver in the cross examination however points out that Fabian did not study genetics and without directly stating it, Fabian's blaming the family is the same type of discrimination that racism is.
34 min 27 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=2067 when asked by the defense attorney can the cycle be broken, Fabian claims it's difficult, Yup another racist comment. You are an inner-city youth so you are going to be a super-predator
43 min 50 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=2630 the judge states that statements made by others to Fabian are considered "here say" and are not evidence in the case but are used by Fabian to form his opinions... So the judge admits that Fabian can make up whatever he pleases even based on non factual backed evidence.
48 min 25 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=2905 Fabian states that Grate suffered from mild depression, and goes on about it for a minute. claims it's cognitive and how one views one's self with a low self esteem. Fabian and others like him create this artificial depression cycle by profiling you as depressed, so you are labeled as "to dangerous to operate heavy machinery causing the loss of occupation. Fabian and others like him , I don't care if I'm making you unemployable, then the depression becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy where you have to return to the mental health quacks to get treatment to get a more favorable tagging which often actually creates depression that doesn't exist when none existed in the first place.
It's at this point Fabian fixates on the fact that Shawn Grate took "the short bus" to school and states it five times in the direct examination, three times in 38 seconds alone and twice in 10 seconds.
as pulled from the youtube transcript highlighted in yellow
49:22
he was on the short bus
https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=2958
49:32
he hated that bus okay
https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=2971
49:50-49:59
there was a connection between that depression and the neurodevelopmental disorders of ADHD and learning disability and the short bus okay yeah unspecified bipolar
https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=2990
So using John Matthew Fabian's logic, the vehicle you went to school in make you depressed, give you low self esteem, cause you to develop ADHD which them makes you a serial killer. That's what Fabian tries to claim as well as justify Grate's actions. This is not the last time Fabian mentioned the short bus either.
52 min 55 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=3175 after Fabian denied he was trying to "sell a diagnosis"
53min 24 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=3204 Fabian goes on how the suspect has mania then says it's complicated by ADHD, claiming it affects you frontal lobe, This is the Jim Crow argument ignoring the 2007 NIH study saying brain maturity is delayed but only by three years and the brain ends up being normal https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2007/11/071112172200.htm . Former head of psychology for Texas Children's Hospital, Dr. Bruce Perry has stated that ADHD is not a real diagnosis at all. https://www.theguardian.com/society/2014/mar/30/children-hyperactivity-not-real-disease-neuroscientist-adhd
For the next couple of minutes Fabian fixates on Grate having ADHD. 54 min 10 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=3250 even though Grate didn't endorse having ADHD, Fabian was obsessed with stating that Grate had ADHD, claiming the "neurological testing" said he had it. later in the Cross examination below Weaver points out that Fabian ignored his own results where the results stated Grate DID NOT have ADHD and yet still tagged Grate with an ADHD diagnosis. PT3 23 min 1 sec https://youtu.be/nmO2yi59qOU?t=1381This is Malpractice as well as potentially perjury of testimony where Fabian lied about the test results being positive for ADHD in the direct examination. Greater detail will be laid out in the next section.
55 min 30 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=3330 testing "did not come out right" for a PTSD diagnosis, really? what is considered right? Sure sounds like Fabian wanted to tag Grate with PTSD
57 min 57 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=3477 Fabian said suspect had a bad relationship with women. Fabian states Grate was in a lot of violent relationships, one where he gets stabbed so he had difficulties with intimacy.
1 hour 26 seconds https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=3626 Fabian starts throwing disorder diagnosis's against the wall claiming Grate was in special education courses for speech and once again fixated in the short school bus at
1:00:49
he was on a special bus special school
Fabian is trying to say that Grate is mentally defective stating Grates Brain was flawed or compromised due to difficulties learning to speak 1 hour 1 min 5 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=3665. Clearly the interrogation footage begs to differ where Grate was articulate with the detectives in order to try to bargain himself out of a death sentence.
1 hour 2 min https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=3720 Fabian goes into his IQ claiming bad reading comprehension and has bad spelling so he as the academics of an 10 year old and had a IQ of 83 claiming he was in the 13tth percentile. 1 hour 4 min 4 sec Fabian claims that Grate is in the lower 5th percentile in verbal comprehension https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=3844 This goes against his conversations with the detectives where Grate goes in great articulate detail about his crimes
1 hour 5 min 5 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=3906 Fabian goes on about working memory. There mental health quacks go on about working deficiencies when in realty working memory of AVERAGE PEOPLE is 3-5 items, why phone numbers before area codes were no longer than 7 digits. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2864034/ and https://abcnews.go.com/Technology/brain-memory-magic-number/story?id=9189664
Once again keep in mind , it can't be emphasized enough that indicted felons hire Fabian do so because of his track record of labeling people with broken brains to avoid legal consequences. Not only does Fabian aggressively interpret test results, no matter how normal they are as abnormal/cognitively defective, Fabian whether it's due to incompetence or sheer intent also does not factor in the test taker malingering the results by intentionally doing bad on the tests as in what happened with USA V HERNANDEZ. Shawn Grate from the moment he got arrested tried to game the legal system to avoid the death penalty which included hiring John Matthew Fabian due to his history of labeling anyone mentally defective whether their actually are or not. This shows the true intelligence of Shawn Grate and completely discredits John Matthew Fabian's reports.
The testimony continues.
1 hour 6 min 41 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=4001 mild neurocognitive disorder due to tramtic brain injury, Fabian says Grate had concussions when he was a child but has no data, but he factors it in claiming its unspecified and that he has "some neuropsychological impartments he's concerned about with executive functioning" but then says he "would like more information"
1 hour 7 min 46 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=4066 Fabian states "I will say in my opinion his brain is not working right." So his brain is broken. Then Fabian uses a poor car anology where he says "I think we have like a analogies is a car with four wheels we got about three, we've got about three wheel car drving on the road" Fabian has no idea what he's talking about. A three wheel car is un-functionable. I cannot drive down the road. If he said, bad spark plugs, oil leaks, bad transmission that can't get into some gears, that means yes the car is disabled but can get down the road. Grate can function without being bed ridden. How could anyone take Fabian seriously? especially with him butchering the English Language into a word salad as mush as he has. It would make anyone question Fabian's own linguistic deficiencies.
1 hour 8 min https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=4080 Fabian lumps ADHD cannabis abuse disorder tougher claiming the suspect smoked 1/4 ounce a week where Fabian went full "reefer madness" and considered Grate chemically dependent used and abused cannabis. That is maybe one joint a day https://www.pewtrusts.org/en/research-and-analysis/blogs/stateline/2018/06/06/yes-you-can-become-addicted-to-marijuana-and-the-problem-is-growing and it's considered extremely light consumption of cannabis http://www.drugslibrary.stir.ac.uk/files/2017/04/TP_weed_3.pdf The University of Colorado has a much more up to date view of this for guidance to the university's students. Googling the subject brings up a visual of what 1/4 oz is, 7 grams which isn't much at all. https://www.leafly.com/news/cannabis-101/visual-guide-to-cannabis-quantities The Canadians since it was legalized and pilots are only required to abstain from cannabis consumption 28 days before and during active periods of flying https://datac.ca/28-days-of-no-cannabis-required-for-canadian-flight-crews/ have done research on the cognitive impairment and came to the concluding that there is no significant impairment, only mild at worst. https://www.ccsa.ca/sites/default/files/2019-09/CCSA-Cannabis-Use-Cognitive-Effects-Report-2019-en.pdf Meaning at best Fabian is coming to his conclusions using obsolete information or at worst and probably most likely, has no idea what he's talking about
Fabian even admits it's "a lot less than many of his other defendants he examined" claiming it calmed himself down. Fabian is one to talk about substance dependence since he was arrested for a DUI on drugs in February 2016 and judging by his statements on cannabis, it was for other drugs such as cocaine. This is pure gaslighting by Fabian.
1 hour 9 min 14 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=4154 Fabian refers to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manuel or DSM as the "Diagnostic Manuel of Mental Disorders" below Weaver points out that Fabian doesn't even follow the DSM with his diagnosis labels.
1 hour 9 min 58 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=4198 Fabian says "there is a pot of them (personality disorders)" Basically Fabian is throwing diagnoses against the wall.
1 hour 14 min 13 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=4453 states other psychologists only diagnosed Grate with mild depression and substance abuse problems.
1 hour 14 min 48 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=4488 Fabian fumbles through his notes for the next minute
1 hour 14 min 54 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=4494 Weaver objects and calls for a legal conclusion, Judge overrules Weaver about Fabian's opinion being a legal conclusion.
1 hour 15 min 11 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=4511 Fabian says "yeah I have some thoughts"
1 hour 16 min https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=4560 Fabian begins to talk about the conversation he had with Grate's mother, then acknowledges it's hearsay. The judge continue talking until objection which happens almost immediately from Weaver. at which point the judge makes both sets of attorneys approach the bench.
1 hour 18 min 39 sec, https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=4719 Fabian claims that Grate's "detachment disorder" came from his mother who self diagnosed it on herself. So let me get this straight, you can give yourself a mental disorder without all those letters after your name and it's generational. Sure sounds like the same type of segregationist non-sense of eugenic pushed by those that labeled minority youths "super Predictors" for decades.
1 hour 21 min 5 second https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=4865 Fabian doubles down and says
"he was hardwired differently" How does he know that? He's didn't study genetics, he's not a neurologist meaning his expertise is not in hardware but supposedly software. didn't the racists say this about minorities during the Jim Crow era?
Fabian mentions The Short Bus for the fifth time https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=4880
1:21:20-1:21:24
expressing himself was good the short bus really hurt his development made him
Notice that every time Fabian mentions "the short bus" he fixates and forces the delivery. This is the exact same way Fabian fixated and repeated Germanwings. He was fixated on Germanwings. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Germanwings_Flight_9525 That he thinks everyone with a personality fault (which is everyone to a degree) is going manifest into high profile homicide. This fixation by Fabian on one topic not directly related to someone to pin someone too is very disturbing.
1 hour 21 min 56 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=4916 Fabian goes on again labeling someone with a broken brain that he calls a "damaged developing brain" Say that to a ethnic minority and see what happens.
1 hour min 24 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=4944 claims that Grate's sister is "much healthier" based on what? Did he give his sister an assessment? How does Fabian in a matter of fact tone claim that Shawn Grate's sister Barb is "much healthier" than Shawn is?
The next portion of the video is the start of Cross Examination where Mark R Weaver tears apart the credibility of Fabian's Credentials as well as way the foundation of doubt for his testimony as documented in the previous sections. The cross examination of Fabian's testimony on Grate at around 1houe 34 min where one of his disturbing comments which I go into below says that his assessment was biased
1 hour 34 min 37 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=5687 Weaver forces Fabian to admit that Grate was "not insane" meaning that Grate know what he was doing was and was complete control of his actions. This completely discounts Fabians direct examination testimony that of all the excuses that he made of that Grate could not control himself.
1 hour 35 min 30 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=5730 Weaver gets Fabian to admit he did not professionally evaluate the Grate's mother which hits close to hone with Fabian because he burps very awkwardly before he answers which a couple of commenters on the video called Fabian's action unprofessional behavior, Fabian counters she is "psychologically disturbed" based solely on "insight during a 3 hour phone call" where Fabian claimed he could pick out "certain symptoms of mental illness certainly." One could believe he would claim the same thing about journalists asking too many questions, meaning Fabian will say you are nuts based on his opinion alone to discredit you. 1 hour 35 min 51 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=5751 Weaver asks the question again, You didn't administer any psychological examinations to his mother when you spoke to her did you? Fabian's Response, No but she's psychologically disturbed. Based on what? Fabians opinion? because it sure wasn't based on any formal testing. Notice Fabian also stares at the ceiling and is not confident at as to what comes out of his mouth. I would personally have this fall under Fabian's claim that he can read minds and see inside of people.
1 hour 36 min 30 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=5790 Weaver directly asks Fabian does he have any degrees in genetics. Fabian reluctantly says No. Weaver then asks Fabian, Genetics is the study of hereditary attributes being passed from parents to Children, which Fabian answers Correct. Weaver makes Fabian agree that tall parents will likely have tall children as an basic example. Then Weaver makes a point that Fabian does not have a degree in genetics, and not an expert in generics. Fabian tries to side step this by answering, There's not the word genetic in that report I don't think. Which Weaver responded with, Right well but you have testified previously that you believe that the biology of parents makes someone more violent. Essentially that parent that children can inherent a gene for violence. You testified that way before haven't you? Which Fabian tries to sidestep taking about "certain twin studies in Australia about criminal genetics and that there is a good about of scientific literature in a word salad that ends with, I don't come here saying... um you know... I'm I'm not adhering to that opinion in this case. Weaver comes right back and says that You've testified that way before that it's in the genes that it's possible to inherit a gene to make you violent Which Fabian responds with, I said that there's a nature nurture argument with criminality and violence with parents certainly yes. So Fabian makes statements on a subject he was no formal knowledge of.
Fabian was fixated on how my father died and stated I would not fly if I told him which looking back was a blatant violation of the 5th amendment. Would not surprise me with be able to see the report which is violating my 4th amendment, that Fabian put in that because my father died the way he did, I am more likely to die the way my father did. If that is the case then that's based on a genetic claim from someone who has no formal education in genetics. That would be a claim of blatant malpractice.
This "violence gene" is passed down from parent to child sure sounds similar to racists pushing the "Super Predator" tag for decades on inner city minority youth that were claimed to be genetically more likely to commit crime. A practice that is now discredited and disavowed. https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/article/they-were-sentenced-as-superpredators-who-were-they-really/
Taking this snake oil pseudo science a step further is the practice of Eugenics or the act of trying to manipaulte the gene pool of the population to eliminate unwarted traits.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugenics This was happening in the United States out in the open until the horriffic nature of The Holocaust was discovered by the allies at the end of World War 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qsg5IwYRw9A where Josef Mengele took eugenics to an extreme level. Now it's masked in the pro-choice movement targeting racial minorities for abortions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bPY_Bsxvjqg
Over the next two minutes Weaver gets Fabian to acknowledge in his reports that Grate knew right from wrong, was conscious of his actions, and also points out once again Fabian is often unaware of what he he puts in his reports. 1 hour 39 min 29 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=5969
with a quote for Grate looking forward to killing child molesters in prison that Fabian first was unaware of then after reading his report stating, He may have said that I mean he did, I quoted it.
1 hour 39 min 46 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=5986 Weaver asks Fabian how often does Fabian interview killers that "flat out announced they plan in keep killing once they get to prison. Fabian clinches his lips and claims "it's occasional." and Fabian doesn't believe he will kill again but acknowledges it does happen. Weaver then asks, You have no way of knowing do you? and Fabian responds after rolling his eyes, I don't know if he'll.... do that, no. Weaver just got Fabian to contradict his own testimony in 30 seconds.
around 1 hour 40 min https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=6029 Weaver calls Fabian out being inconsistent with the tests. Fabian makes the admission that he's unethical at 1 hour 43 min 22 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=6202 I would like to highlight that I'm... being unethical right now by not fully interpreting the psychological test as it should be Which everyone should ask, wasn't this test given during the aassement period and shouldn't Fabian have interpreted the results well before the trial and this is just a simple review of what he already determined? Fabian sure seems to have admitted that he not only disregarded the results of the tests, he probably didn't even read them. Why else would he look surprised by the test. Weaver immediately responded I think Mr. Whitney's gonna have a chance to ask you further question sure and if he thinks that's important and you'll have plenty of time we don't want you to be unethical we want you to to comply with all of the obligations of your profession Basically saying shouldn't the defense attorneys demanded that Fabian review the test results and have a final conclusion before the trial started
1 hour 43 min 46 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=6226 Fabian nervously scratches his ear as Weaver goes over the tests Fabian said he did not interpret "ethically"
1 hour 44 min https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=6240 Weaver makes a point of why Fabian didn't administer the MMPI. Fabian claims that he got the information he needed from three other tests so he felt he didn't need to use one of the main tests psychologists use by saying, I thought... I had his mental illness down... quite well. Fabian admits lawyers don't want certain tests use.
1 hour 45 min 7 sec https://youtu.be/0jnndclBzPM?t=6307 Weaver then gets Fabian to contradict himself multiple times weather or not he actually did diagnose Grate with an anti-social personality disorder.
