Amu

Classification: Sino-Tibetan > Tibeto-Burman > Lolo-Burmese > Loloish > Southern Loloish > Haoni-Baihong

On April 12, 2014, a Hani woman on the bus from Mojiang County to Sinanjiang Township told me that there are many Amu living in Qian’gang Village 千岗村, Sinanjiang Township, Mojiang County, Yunnan, China. She also reported that Amu (a³³mɯ³³) is more similar to Bukong (i.e., Baihong), while Kabie is more similar to Qiedi, which is a Ha-Ya language.

Unfortunately, I did not have a chance to document Amu.
