On April 25, 2014 in Sanchahe Town 三岔河镇, Fengqing County, Yunnan Province, China, I collected data on Miao of Dashitouzhai 大石头寨 and Malutang 马鹿塘. The Miao there speak a form of Chuanqiandian Miao, otherwise known as Hmong. All children speak the language in Dashitouzhai and Malutang. My informant was an elderly woman who also sang some Miao folk songs for me.
