Buyi (Gugan)

Conference presentations: Hsiu, Andrew. 2013. “Shui” varieties of western Guizhou and Yunnan.

On April 12, 2013, my informant Wu Shangrong 吴尚荣 (65, female) of Buzhang village 布掌村, Gugan Township 古敢水族乡, Fuyuan County, Qujing, Yunnan, China gave me some words in the local "Shui" language, which turned out to be Buyi. Another male informant in his 60’s gave me ‘eat breakfast’, ‘eat lunch’, and ‘eat dinner’.

Below is the word list that I had compiled from both informants.
