Car in Simulink

This section offers a few tools that can be easily edited and further developed in Simulink. The models are simplifications of reality but using data from real vehicles. The authors would like to thank the following persons and companies for making vehicle data available:

Several simplified models have been created for:

1) Brakes [tbc] (longitudinal)

2) Turbocharger [tbc]

3) Tyres (longitudinal, lateral)

4) Acceleration, gear ratios, terminal speed (longitudinal)

5) Suspension ride pitch roll

6) Suspension handling (lateral - planar dynamics)

7) Lap time simulation (longitudinal & lateral)
