While at Delta Motorsport, from October 2017 to November 2018 Chris worked on an a BMW M2 electric demonstrator vehicle for BMW Powertrain. This project involved development of a 4WD Torque Vectoring system (led by Dr. Efstathios Siampis) and a novel Braking Torque Estimation algorithm (led by Cranfield University) coupled with a 4-channel Brake-By-Wire system.

The technology is an evolution of what Delta originally developed for their E4 Coupe: electric 2/4WD, regen braking, torque vectoring, high voltage pack and charging system, battery monitoring system, extended range turbine generator.
