During contract work for Martin Short of Rollcentre/Mosler Europe Chris carried out chassis and suspension components R&D for the Mosler race car versions. A very competitive car in the hands of Martin and the other drivers, with a strong and competent team based in Cambridgeshire.
This is a car that started with a promising design in the Mosler Florida headquarters but which required significant chassis stiffening: after talks between Martin Short and Lee Noble, it was decided that the roll-cage should supply a significant increase in torsional and bending stiffness. Racing definitely improved the original design.
