To celebrate the Chinese Spring Festival, we had the pleasure of welcoming Ms Esme WANG, Manager of Information & Education, along with Mr. Tang Yuxiang from the China Cultural Centre in Malta. Mr. Tang Yuxiang delivered a fascinating workshop on Chinese calligraphy for our Year 7 students.
Meanwhile, Year 3, 4, and 5 Hospitality and Home Economics students enjoyed an interactive dumpling-making session in the Hospitality Lab, led by a delegation from the Confucius Institute at the University of Malta, headed by Prof. Nie Aixia.
These enriching experiences were made possible through the generous collaboration of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Malta.
📜 A Historic Recognition
In December, the Spring Festival was officially inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, further highlighting its cultural significance worldwide.
We deeply appreciate this opportunity to foster cultural exchange and understanding among our students.
As part of the celebration, Fr. Charles Sultana, Head of School, and both teams exchanged gifts as a token of this special occasion.
✨ Wishing you all a joyful and prosperous Year of the Snake.🐍🎊
