Year 7 students were delighted to welcome Mr. Francecso Pio Attard, a past pupil and the editor of the Gozitan monthly magazine, ‘Il-Ħajja f’Għawdex’. He talked about his great love for books, the history and evolution of the mentioned magazine, the National Archives Gozo section which holds more than 150 years of records and the importance of research and reading for pleasure.

At the end of his presentation, he donated the book ‘Franġisku ta’ Assisi: il-Qaddis u l-istorja ħelwa ta’ ħajtu.’ This is the latest publication issued by the TAU Publication House run by the Franciscans of the Maltese Province. The book, which has been translated into Maltese by Francesco Pio Attard, is the work of Slovenian Franciscan Friar Andraž Arko with pictures by Ursa Skoberne.
