𝟏. During this scholastic year the students and educators in our school participated in the 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 initiative, organised by the 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 within the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲. The intention of this campaign is to acknowledge and reward those schools which are making the best efforts to promote and create a holistic reading culture within their school environment.

We are pleased to announce that our school was awarded the prestigious 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝!

𝟐. We would also like to congratulate 𝐉𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐫𝐠 (Year 9) on being awarded the 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞 related to the 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑.

The prize-giving ceremony was held on Wednesday, 28th June, 2023 at St Ġorġ Preca College Paola Primary School.
