History: The Jayhawks are a recent creation; a group of independent minded freedom fighters that cast off the oppression of the Hawkeye Empire and their corrupting sciences in the name of ecological sustainability and the protection of the regions natural resources. Some have noted that the new Governing Council seems to parrot whatever the wisdom of the day emerges from the Black Hills to the north, but such dissent is generally short lived once the dissenter has completed their Wellness Meditations and Harmony Sessions with an enlightened guide.
