The Earth System:

The Earth state is comprised of Luna and the various LaGrange points around Earth. The Capital of Earth State is the city of Hadley on Luna, located near the old Apollo landing sites.

Luna

Earth's moon is in the 'first order' of settled planets within Sol system, with around 1,000,000 inhabitants. This was made possible with the discovery of native water in the polar regions of the moon. The moon became one of the principal Sol settlements simply due to its location to Earth. As people fled the ravages of the Fundamentalist War it was one of the easiest places to stop.

In the subsequent years Luna has become one of the more heavily industrialized and settled places within Sol system. Luna has thrived for the very reasons that it was considered hostile: low gravity makes it ideal for nano-assembler work, it is cheap to land and lift off from the surface, it has a very close proximity to the Earth Lagrange Industrial Stations and Habitats, and it has the enviable position of being the first planetoid colonized by humanity. We know how to survive on the moon. This makes it ideal for large scale settlement. And if that wasn't enough it is also a good listening post for the Earth, allowing listening posts to record any EM emissions.

Hadley is the capital of the moon; a sprawling above and below ground complex that holds a population of about 500,000. It is within Hadley that the Luna state council resides, as well as the Luna Trade Exchange.

Internal Security Agency (ISA)

The ISA is perhaps one of the most feared organizations in Human space. It is said that ISA operatives can read minds, melt bulkheads, and alter time itself with the power of their minds. Naturally the ISA simply claims to hunt criminals and keep tabs on Chinese nationals within CPH space.

It is rumored however that they are actually waging a clandestine war against rogue psionics, primarily from the hidden Evolvist Settlements.
