November 2014 Papoose Article

Last month's Papoose article incorrectly reported the results for the Lightning Spring series. The correct results are Rich Miner in first place, Perry Anderson second and Chuck Chute third. Apologies to Perry and Chuck for the error.

On September 7, three Lightnings did one race with Rich Miner coming in first followed by Chuck Chute second and Perry Anderson third. On September 14 the Lightnings did not race but the Snipes held two races with John Marx taking two firsts and Constance Gill taking two seconds. And, on September 21, the Lightnings were back on the course with Rich Miner first and Hank Jelinek second in both races. Fall racing is not over as this article is being written so the final results for the Lightning Fall series and the overall results for the Snipes will be reported next month.

We have one more special event scheduled before we recess for the Winter, our annual Awards Brunch on November 16, 2014.
