We shoved off for 2016 with our Annual Cleanup as well as our Prep Signal Party on April 30th and there is much to come this year. Here are some important dates to put on your calendars:

·         May 14th: Mast Raising followed by the Cinco de Mayo Party at the Yacht Club.

·         May 22nd: Racing begins.

·         June 5th:  Gabor Cup Regatta (open to all LMCC members, with a sailboat of any kind), followed by the Makani [Hawaiian for wind] Party. 

·         July 4th: Family Barbecue (to coincide with the LMCC fireworks). 

·         July 10th: Marine Base Regatta, Regatta (open to all LMCC members, with a sailboat of any kind)

ATTENTION! There have been some changes in the schedule for Levels 2 & 3/3 of the Lake Mohawk Yacht Club Junior Sailing Classes. The program is open to LMCC Members only. Students must be age 10 and above. The is very popular program and there is limited space. Call early to register your child. The complete, updated information is as follows:

·         Dates:   June 27 to July 29, 2016

·         Sailing Level 1: Mon., Tues., Thurs.

o   A.M. Class: 9:30 am – 12:15 pm, or

o   P.M. Class: 1:15 pm – 4:00 pm

·         Sailing Level 2: Intro to Snipe Sailing

o   Wed. & Fri. 10:30 am – 1:15 pm

·         Sailing Level 3/3+: Snipe Sailing

o   Wed. & Fri. 2:15 pm – 5:00 pm

·         Cost: 

o   Level 1 - $375

o   Levels 2 & 3 - $250
