January 2019 Papoose Article

On November 10, we had a Fall Clean-up. A hardy crew braved chilly winds blowing 15+ and moved the Sunfish under the Buoy Room. We also moved Larry Scheer's outboard dock section onto the Sunfish area.

It was decided that is was too windy to lower masts. Therefore, it was determined that the best time to lower the masts was Monday the 12th,

starting about 2:00. Another crew assembled and lowered masts on the Lightnings.

Larry Scheer and Lori Walker graciously hosted a boat decorating party at their farmhouse on December 8. We sincerely thank them for their kindness. Our next event will be the Annual Awards Party. Members should keep an eye out for an invitation.

We are once again offering our every popular Junior Sailing School which is open to children of all members of the Lake Mohawk Country Club. We will have trained, US Sailing certified instructors teaching the classes.
