December 2022 Papoose Article

The Yacht Club wrapped up the sailing year and held its annual meeting in November. Officers for 2023 will be announced in the January Papoose.

The pictures below tell a story of our year 2022.

The year started with April Clean-up Day including getting the docks in.

This picture shows Don Okner smiling happily as he oversees the work crew, having put in many years of work himself.

John Miller enjoying an October day.

We hosted a July 4th Fireworks Picnic, sailed the Gabor Cup and the Commodore’s Cup, taught a bunch of Junior and Adult sailors, and enjoyed weekday evening Sunfish Sailing parties. It was a busy year. We look forward to doing all this and more in 2023!

We are planning some winter activities, so watch our website for what’s happening – www.LakeMohawkSailing.org and write to us at: www.LakeMohawkSailing@gmail.com

Until next month,

Smooth Sailing and God bless America!
