April 2011 Papoose Article

Post date: Apr 10, 2011 2:49:51 PM

After the winter weather that we had this year we are all ready for some sailing. There are just a few things that have to be done before racing begins. First, there is our Clean Up which is scheduled for April 16th (rain date April 17th). We sincerely need as much help as we can get from our members so we ask that each and everyone try to devote a few hours to the club on Clean Up Day.

Next, on May 7th we will gather to help one another raise our masts and ready our boats for sailing. Again, there wil be a reward for participating—the Cinco de Mayo Party will follow. Finally, the first horn will sound on May 15th when racing officially begins.

The following updated schedule of our planned events for 2011 is provided so that you can mark your calendars and make your plans:

· April 15th Prep Signal Party at the LMCC
