November 2018 Papoose Article

While the winds were good for us in August and for the Commodore’s Cup on September 2, things change for the rest of September and October. The lack of wind coupled with inclement weather led to many cancellations. As this article goes to press, we still have two weekends of racing left on our schedule. Hopefully, there will be a few more races before we cross the finish line for 2018.

The photo that accompanies this article was taken by Ian Oldridge of the start of the 2018 Commodore’s Cup. Rich Miner, who won the race is in the blue Lightning, second boat from the right in the photo. Ian takes a lot of great photos of our club events that can be viewed on our web site.
