"Her father Henry J. Long was born in Rockingham County, Va in 1800. When about 10 years of age removed to Greene county Ohio and there married Mary Walden who was born in the same county as her husband in 1801." Past and Present of Bureau County 1906 page 510 Ernest Dunteman's wife Amanda Long.

They moved to Bureau county, IL in 1842

They are buried in the Brush Creek, Selby or Long Cemetery in Selby Twp.

Henry M. Johnson (the M was supposedly for Moorman - no proof)

"On attaining his majority walked all the way to the Ohio river, traveling at about the rate of forty miles per day, passing over the Blue Ridge mountains. At Wheeling he took passage on a steamboat down the Ohio river to Cincinnati, and from there he went to Xenia, Greene county, Ohio, where he made his home for about four years. There he wedded Mis Margaret Long, a native of Greene county, in January, 1841. She was the daughter of Henry H. and Mary (Walden) Long. In 1842 he removed with his wife and child by wagon to Bureau county, Illinois settling upon a thirty-six acre tract of wild land in Seldby township."
