He has applied his engineering, management, computer, and organizational development skills to help with the analyzing, problem solving and organization of records necessary for genealogical research.

He has been doing genealogical research since 1987 and has been active in societies, society management, teaching, and presenting lectures since 1994.

Genealogy Writer

He is the author of Give Your Family A Gift That Money Can't Buy / Record & Preserve Your Family's History a 2007 book that encouraged people to record and preserve their family's history. The 5th edition was joint published in 2012 with Family Roots Publishing LLC.

He was a contributing editor for the former Everton's Genealogical Helper and a feature writer for the former Heritage Quest Magazine. His articles have also appeared in publications such as The Digital Genealogist, the FGS Forum, Family Tree Magazine (UK), Missing Links, the DCGS Reveiw, and other society publications.

It also provides a solid foundation for research to find the missing information.

He was a contributing editor for the former Everton's Genealogical Helper and a feature writer for the former Heritage Quest Magazine. His articles have also appeared in various other publications including The Digital Genealogist, the FGS Forum, Family Tree Magazine (UK), Missing Links, the DCGS Review, a variety of other society publications, local newspapers, and even a town magazine in France. Speaking engagements have included the Florida State Genealogy Society Conference, Ohio Genealogical Society Conferences, the BYU Family History & Genealogy Conference, National Genealogical Society Conference, the Federation of Genealogical Societies Conferences, Polish Genealogical Society of America annual conferences, numerous regional conferences and workshops, as well as a variety of US and International travel photograph presentations.

For over 18 years he was active in society and conference management at both the local and state level and was the Local Arrangements Chair for the 2006 NGS Conference in Chicago.
