Medals Policy

The IISc Randonneurs distribute the medals and homologated cards for their rides at an annual or semi-annual event. All riders will be e-mailed prior to the event with details.

Note: The IISc Randonneurs have no control over when the medals or homologation stickers arrive from France. In India, it usually takes about 6 months to a year after a ride for the medals to arrive.

Outstation Riders (Non-Bangalore Brevets clubs)

Your medals and cards will be dispatched by courier to your club's organizers, usually after our event is over. The IISc Randonneurs does not charge outstation riders or their clubs for this service. Note that we also do not assume any liability for loss of medals or cards in transit.

If you wish to attend and collect your medals or cards in person, please let us know in advance. You can also nominate somebody to collect them in person at the event, please let us know in advance.

Members of Bangalore Brevets

Medals and cards will be handed over in person at the distribution event.

You can nominate somebody to collect the medals and cards on your behalf at the event. Let us know in advance.

You can also collect your medals at the end of any IISc Randonneurs brevet with prior intimation (1 week) to the organizer. Please arrive at least one hour before the end control closes.

If you only have cards (and not medals) to collect and you are unable to attend or nominate somebody, you may request us to post your cards to you. These will be posted after the distribution event. We may charge you for postage and we will not be responsible for any loss in transit.
