進化論勝利 Victory for Evolution

2009年6月26日﹐南華早報報道﹐教育局公佈表示﹐智慧設計與神創論不是新高中生物科課程一部份﹐也不是科學解釋。標題說﹐神創論被排除出高中課程。

在一份傳媒獲得的教育局文件第五段說﹐在兩份提交給立法會教育事務委員會的意見書提及的智慧設計與神創論不是新高中生物科課程一部份﹔而在第六段說﹐課堂上討論的另外解釋中﹐不會包括非科學的解釋。

港大理學院院長郭新與生物學家 David Dudgeon 都對此表示高興。

On June 2006, South China Morning Post carried the story "Victory for Darwin".

In the report it said the Education Bureau announced that Creationism and Intelligent Design are rejected from the Biology Curriculum, and they are not considered as scientific explanations. The document we obtained from the media drafted by EDB said it clearly that Creationism and Intelligent design do not form part of the biology curriculum and discussions include only scientific explanations.

Dr. Kwok Sun, Dean of Faculty of Science, HKU and Dr. David Dudgeon both welcomed the announcement.
