1984-88年出版視藝刊物《熔爐通訊》，並出任編輯，在香港推展藝術評論。1989年結集香港、中國大陸、台灣及美國華人藝術家組成「藝術行動」，在海內外推展中國當代藝術。1986-89年，入讀香港佛教能仁書院，研習藝術與哲學，從而凝聚了獨特的文化觀：
從中國文化的整體性來發展個人的藝術，,而禪宗、現象學及空的思維凝聚了他的人生觀與藝術觀。作品曾先後在香港、澳門、上海、星加坡、澳洲、加拿大及台灣展出，並為香港法國文化協會、上海美術館、澳門市政廳、悉尼大學、加拿大卑詩大學亞洲中心、加拿大溫哥華中華文化中心等收藏。
Jiwye To
He acted as the publisher and editor of Melting Pot Art Journal to promote art criticism in Hong Kong from 1984 to 88. In 1989 he found Art Action, a group of Chinese artists from mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and USA, to promote Chinese contemporary art by concentrating the effort of Chinese artists who live in the different parts of the world. From 1986-89, he studied art and philosophy in Hong Kong Buddhist College. After constant study and research,a distinct direction and cultural concept-develop his art by starting from the integrity of Chinese culture- has gradually appeared in his mind and works. The idea of Zen, Phenomenology and Emptiness becomes his view of life, the nature and the element of his art. He participated in numerous local and overseas exhibitions in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Macau, Singapore, Australia , Canada and Taiwan. His works are being collected by Hong Kong Alliance Franciase, Shanghai Art Museum, Macau Urban Council, The University of Sydney, Asian Center, Institute of Research, The University of British Columbia, Canada and Chinese Cultural Center, Vancouver, Canada.
