Part of the Solar System

No Predecessor - Mercury - Venus

Mercury is the nearest planet to the sun. A standardized geologic timescale has been created for Mercury, but its usage is not as widespread as those of Mars or the moon. The Mercurial Geologic Timescale consists of periods and limited use of epochs.

Mercurial Geologic Timescale:

Pretolstojan Period - 4568-3900 MYA

Tolstojan Period - 3900-3850 MYA

Calorian Period - 3850-3000 MYA

-Early Calorian Epoch - 3850-3800 MYA

-Late Calorian Epoch - 3800-0 MYA
