Discovering English with Sketch Engine

The author of this website published DESKE last Monday, June 8th, 2015. It took about 20 months to write fitted around many other projects and jobs. But the last few months were intense, at times nerve-racking, but very focussed on getting it finished. Part of the pressure stemmed from the imminent death of Adam Kilgarriff, the owner of Sketch Engine. Although he did see the finished product, he died on May 16th at the age of 55 to cancer.
