-ing adj + noun

This rarely gives an adj describing someone doing something. It very often gives compound nouns.

The words that precede this, as the picture on the right shows are mostly articles (AT0), prepositions, other adjectives, possessive determiner (his, yours).

The most frequent are the following:

[word = ".*ing" & tag = "AJ0"][tag = "NN."]

A students writes: she usually did not disturb the speaking students.

The other way round

[tag = "NN."][word = ".*ing" & tag = "AJ0"]

is only as quarter as frequent.
