Activity Programme 1997 (synthesis)
CAT was built in 1992 under the care and with the effort of 23 founding enterprises, considered the year of local consecration. 1993 was considered the year of regional consecration and 1994 was defined as the year of national consecration. 1995 was characterized as the year of European consecration, and 1996 represented the most successful period of CAT, the year of international consecration and recognition.
The year 1997 will be:
THE YEAR OF DIRECT COMMUNICATIONS
Services of communication through TV Cablu network were introduced right from the first month, January, in order to offer direct and for free access to all the subscribers to Internet/E-mail. The first INTERNET CAFÉ was inaugurated at Atlantic Disco-Manastur District. Negotiations started for the creation of a TV studio of TVCablu- Portal- Seltron and NCN-Napoca Cable Network enterprises was created , in order to produce commonly programmes destinated to the subscribers from Cluj-Napoca and to other cities. It was also launched the � Transylvania Web Factory � project for our companies, this way being opened a direct communication with millions of potentional partners from all around the world through the CAT Electronic Catalogue 1997.
Into the development of direct communications program, 10 Economic Missions abroad will be organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, according to the CATravel Department. Developed countries and those, which donate financial assistance, are taken in view, for the identification of partners and for the attraction of investors.
CAT will continue to sustain the local authorities for the realization of the �International Airport-Free Zone Cluj-Napoca� project, which will directly and efficiently connect the local community with partners from different countries.
In the Budget for 1997 proper founds were previewed as well as donations and non-reimbursable assistance, in order to continue the: INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIP, COMMON MARKET, CATRAINING-CONSULTING CENTER and CATCLUB programmes, which recorded a great success, important for the members of our organization.
It was projected for the year 1997 the opening of subsidiaries in 13 towns from Transylvania: Targu-Mures, Arad, Satu-Mare, Timisoara, Brasov, Sibiu, Resita, Tarnaveni, Medias, Sighisoara, Sighet, Dej, Fagaras, as well as in other cities which will require our help. By the same time the companies existing at the moment with juridical personality, will be independent, together with those that will develop by themselves.
In April will be signed the �Collaboration and Development Agreement� of Transylvania Business Centers- �CATs Agreement�. This document will be opened for the adherence of all independent centers, built initially as CAT subsidiaries.
Following the dynamical association of new members, it is estimated for the end of the year that Transylvania Business Centers will have more then 1000 members: commercial societies, banks, institutions, associations etc.
The Programme of Actions – Estimative Budget for 1997, presented in the annexe, were designed taking into account: the demands for non-reimbursable assistance, launched last year for 12 projects local development and CAT members/network.
It was also taken into consideration the increase of quality of services and the development of activities generator of proper founds in order to sustain together with the dues of the members, The Programme of Actions 1997.
The realization of the programme supposes the mobilization of founds, estimated to 2.482 millions ROLei.
The Programme of Actions and the Estimative Budget 1997 are available to the members, at the headquarters of our organization and will be presented for approved of the General Assembly, the 25th of February 1997.
