What is the purpose of the architecture section? - provides detailed scope - or
"what on the project" - provides technical information
How will it be used for creating our plan?
- Can be used for creating list of deliverables
- How things integrate at a high level
- See how a process is implemented in a product.
For section 2.3 - generally provided by a process expert
Keep processes in your back pocket for implementation and never should be marketed
in a team as a hard lined item to follow - generally feels like more work.
It is there in background, implemented - just in time.
What is the importance of section 2.3 for a project plan -
in other words - what does a process have to do with project plan?
process enables creation of activity sequencing after a Work Breakdown Structure is created
- at a high level is a simple way to sequence activities in a plan.
Can a process be used for different parts of a project plan?
Absolutely. - In our fiction we are going to use software process for our product construction
project mgmt to manage the project deliverable,
franchise and loan process for requirements - so will not be directly used in our plan but
will be used in our product.
