Factor in Loan Process and Franchise Process:
What is our project scope?
Keeping in mind Loan and Project process documented in attachment - [FranchiseBusinessOverviewV11_2009.docx] following items are in scope definition:
1. Setup a Program Management Office that can oversee setup of franchises, financial mgmt, tactical mgmt, governance, processes for each department and overall quality control.
2. Work with PMO to create a plan for building necessary tools and structural aspects of the project so the first franchise can be setup.
3. Create a plan to setup a first franchise and test all processes for running loan logistics.
4. Create a plan to setup five to ten franchises and retest processes for running loan logistics.
5. Create a framework that enables resource planning for setting up 10 to 50 franchises at at time.
Following items are not in scope:
1. Project plan does not factor in revenue capability requirements from business development.
2. Plan does not include tasks for marketing franchises.
