Difference between a mileston and task.
What is the difference between duration and actual labor cost?
managing overloaded resources
1. assign a different resource
2. change the predecessor to realign activities
3. extend the date - changing dependencies or allowing more time for a task (creating dummy task) -
4. Schedule crashing - $$$$
Critical Path
Shorted path with longest duration is critical path. It helps determine the minimum amount of time the project will take. So, Sergio when the nodes are highlighted in bold (in the very good software - Smartsheets), its merely telling you the nodes in critical path.
Resource Leveling - automated way of organizing resources to task for optimal time usage (with mindfulness to schedule and holidays).
