POWERS, DUTIES AND AUTHORITY OF
LIAISON OFFICER
The Liaison Officer brings the official report of the advice, views and guidance from the Incorporator, the Lamb, Dr. Leland Jensen. The council members consider the report and formally address it but they are free to vote their own conscience. The Liaison Officer is a member having one vote and is also free to vote her conscience. The Liaison Officer reports back to the Incorporator with information on the decisions of the International Baha'i Council, questions from the other members and general concerns and progress.
The Liaison Officer remains a permanently appointed position and is not elected during the first 2 stages. This position ceases to exist with the election of the Supreme Tribunal.
