Dear Pepe,

Thank you very kindly for your letter of January 18. However, I don't want to reestablish corresponding with you. I have put forth my claim and the proofs to validate its authenticity, for authenticity is the criteria for believability. As you don't accept this authenticity, even though it is credible, then there is no purpose in an argument between us, because when we argue we are both wrong. However, we send you productions of the progress of the Cause of God, so you can keep abreast with what is going on.

On the other hand there is one thing that I agree with you about and that is your paragraph which I quote here so that we won't be confused about what is being discussed:

For example: We know that the New Revelation is two-fold in nature; i.e., it provides for the spiritual needs of mankind through the "WORD"--GIVEN BY Baha'u'llah, Himself from His Own pen and it provides for the material needs of mankind through the House of Justice which is an integral part of the New World Order of Baha'u'llah. In many instances it was pointed out that only through the Word can we satisfy our spiritual growth and needs while the House of Justice (and its derivatives) secure equity and Justice to assure our Material needs. These separate aspects of the Faith cannot be confused; they are distinct & separate. We cannot attribute to the House of Justice any spiritual expression. 'Abdu'l-Baha so clearly understood this and for that reason He created HisADMINISTRATIVE order to bring to fruition His Father's House of Justice. Remember that 'Abdu'l-Baha gave anAdministrative Order and not a spiritual order for only the WORD of God alone may serve that need.

Therefore, the Guardianship and the title Guardian (as I understand and interpret it) are ADMINISTRATIVE in nature and NOT spiritual.

Up to this point we are in agreement, but from here on it is controversial. You state: "Shoghi (as well as 'Abdu'l-Baha) was divinely and infallibly guided from the Abha Kingdom by Baha'u'llah--(not God)--". In this instance we cannot separate the Manifestation from God, for every thing that we know about God is through the divine Manifestations. They are the intermediaries between man and God. Their Revelations are the Revelations of God.

They are the Logos, which is the thought of God revealed in The WORD. In the Moffet

translation of John 1:1 it says, "The Logos existed in the very beginning, the Logos was with God, the Logos was divine." The Greeks were into Logic. John was living in Greek territory. Their Logos was the thought of a man expressed in a word. John was a Hebrew. They had a Logos too. Their Logos was the thought of God expressed in a Revelation. The Christians are screwed up on this point for they purposely corrupt the Bible to back up their Pagan trinity. They mistranslated the verse as: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." They do this is to try and make Jesus--as the word--to be God, rather than the words of God.

Therefore the Words of Baha'u'llah are the words of God. The Baha'i explanation is likened, or symbolized, with the Sun representing God, the rays of the sun representing the Holy Spirit and the mirror representing the Divine Manifestation. What is seen in the Manifestations is the reflection of God through the Holy Spirit that connects the Manifestation with God. Consequently when we turn to the Manifestation we are turning to God. For instance, if you were living in a dark cave and had never seen the sun, and someone came with a mirror and focused it on the sun, and then reflected it into the cave, you would then see the sun for the first time. Now the sun did not come down out of the sky and get into the mirror, for it is a million and half times larger than the earth and the earth is billions of times larger than the mirror. Yet you, in the cave, can see the sun in all its Glory.You see the disc of the sun, the brightness of the sun, the heat of the sun and if you took a prism and focused on the rays coming from the mirror you would have all the colors of the rainbow. So when we turn to Baha'u'llah we receive God in all His Glory, thus Baha'u'llah is the Glory of God. God in His Infinite Essence is unknowable and will be eternally hidden from all and is not even known by the Manifestations. Throughout all eternity in the next life we will also only evolve through the divine Manifestations. To have a more fuller understanding, turn to Baha'u'llah and the New Era, chapter 3, under the sub-title "The Prophethood of Baha'u'llah".

Another point of contention in your letter is your statement:

Your concept of Mason's adoption (spiritual) by 'Abdu'l-Baha makes as much sense to me and suffices to accept him as spiritual successor as well as Administrative Head of the Faith. The one he inherited from Shoghi (Guardian) the other (spiritual successor) from 'Abdu'l-Baha.

To begin with, Mason's adoption was not a spiritual adoption but a physical one, it continued the lineage of King David that is to last forever,[1] as Baha'u'llah said that he ruleth upon the throne of David, which His genealogy bears out. Mason, therefore, was not a spiritual successor of 'Abdu'l-Baha, but only the administrative head--the executive--of the Universal House of Justice. Mason did not inherit the Guardianship from Shoghi Effendi, as you state, but from 'Abdu'l-Baha, as Mason was neither the biological son, or the adopted son, of Shoghi Effendi. Because Mason was 'Abdu'l-Baha's son, he inherited the Davidic lineage and Shoghi Effendi named him the president of the first International Baha'i Council. Shoghi Effendi did not appoint Mason Remey to be a guardian like he was with conferred infallibility. 'Abdu'l-Baha conferred on Shoghi Effendi the conferred infallibility that Baha'u'llah had conferred on Muhammad Ali, but Shoghi Effendi did not inherit the Davidic lineage as he was not a male-line descendant of Baha'u'llah and 'Abdu'l-Baha, and 'Abdu'l-Baha did not adopt Shoghi Effendi. However, it was Mason Remey who inherited this lineage from his father 'Abdu'l-Baha.

Therefore, because Mason Remey had this lineage, Shoghi Effendi appointed him to be the president and a member of that council which was to evolve from an embryonic state to the Universal House of Justice. In fact, Mason was the only person in this world who was eligible to fill that position. Thus it shows him to be a fallible guardian and that he was not the spiritual head of anything--as you state: the guardian is over the administration only, which is not spiritual. Spirituality was never conferred on him nor did he inherit it. There was no person who inherited Shoghi Effendi's spirituality or conferred infallibility, as he had no biological or adopted son. The only successor to Shoghi Effendi was the first International Baha'i Council, which was in the form of a person, with Mason being the head and a member of the body, which was appointed by Shoghi Effendi. This council, only, was the successor of Shoghi Effendi, and his lineal (meaning: in a straight line) descendant--the Golden branch that inherited his spiritual, or conferred infallibility (see SAQ p.199).

'Abdu'l-Baha explains through symbols Shoghi Effendi's infallibility as being due to his lineage--symbolized by both iron and wood. The Will and Testament of 'Abdu'l-Baha tells us that Shoghi Effendi descended from the twin Holy Trees of the Bab and Baha'u'llah. Mason Remey, being David's descendent, was symbolized by 'Abdu'l-Baha as a branch of wood, that is, wood comes from the vegetable kingdom which reproduces itself. The body of the IBC appointed by Shoghi Effendi was symbolized as iron, as the mineral kingdom does not reproduce itself and the body of the first International Baha'i Council was appointed by Shoghi Effendi, so it does not reproduce itself, it is not hereditary, but the head is hereditary. In the course of this body evolving into the Universal House of Justice its body was to be elected. 'Abdu'l-Baha stated: "For instance, the general House of Justice, if it be established under the necessary conditions--with the members elected from all the people--that House of Justice will be under the protection and the guardianship of God...this is called conferred infallibility" (SAQ p.199).

Mason Remey pointed out that his position as president (hereditary) on that council would not be subject to election when the body was to be elected, but that, as the president, of the lineage of David, his position would continue on, and that he, or one of his successors would be the president, the guardian, of the Universal House of Justice. The Will and Testament of 'Abdu'l-Baha tells us that the guardian is the head and member for life of that House. Therefore the head of that House is the guardian of the Cause of God.

However, when Shoghi Effendi set up the first International Baha'i Council he gave it infallibility by having a liaison officer between himself and the council so he could guide it. As he was the repository of divine guidance, this guidance freed that council from error.

What you inherited from Mason was the Hair and the Blood; the hair symbolizing the headship of the Universal House of Justice, and the blood, the blood line of David, as Baha'u'llah was a male sperm-descendant of King David, seated on the throne of David. Therefore, you are only a member for life, and president, or head (guardian) of that body, and thus the executive of the Universal House of Justice, which is administrative only, as you state.

You say you coined the phrase "Repository of Divine Infallible Guidance". I accept this, but you could never be that Repository of Divine Guidance, as you did not have this conferred on you by anyone nor did you inherit this from your father, Mason Remey, as he did not have this conferred on him either, nor did he inherit this from anyone, as you state you created this position for yourself.

Only the return of Jesus, the high priest after the order of Melchizedek, could possibly be the Repository of Divine Guidance. Only a high priest is allowed to enter the Holy of Holies. Baha'u'llah explained that the Holy of Holies is the spiritual portion of His Revelation. You, being just a guardian and not a high priest after the order of Melchizedek, cannot enter the Holy of Holies and be the Repository of Divine Guidance. As I fulfill the prophecies of the return of Jesus as the high priest, I alone can enter the Holy of Holies, and be the Repository of Divine Guidance. I have already entered the Holy of Holies and stand before the Ark of the Covenant guiding the peoples of the world--those that will listen to me--to safety, security and salvation.

Refer to my article The Four Veils of Daniel where Daniel prophesied the four dates for the coming of Jesus (God with us): 30 A.D., 1844 A.D., 1863 A.D., and 1963 A.D. What Divine Guidance are you giving the World? Absolutely none! It is the fourth coming of Jesus that is now giving guidance to the world by telling them the hour, the day, the month and the year for the nuclear war. The year is 1994; the month is May; the day is the 2nd and the hour is noon. That is, at noon on May 2nd, 1994 the bombs will drop. You have no guidance for the world.

You are a lonely old man living on a hot spot, vegetating in a humble apartment which will be bombed on that date and where you are living now will be only a burned out rubble where Florence used to be. Italy is a prime target, for the United States has powerful military air-bases there, which can strike any place in Europe including Russia, also any place in the Middle-East and North Africa. Right after New York is bombed there will suddenly appear before you an angel, with wings, who will fly you away from the tragedy that is now before you to a safe place in the beautiful mountains of beautiful Montana, where you can serve the Cause in the capacity that God ordained for you. You will be surrounded by loving admirers--as the executive of the second International Baha'i Council, which in a few years will become the UHJ, they will love and respect you.

The Repository of Divine Guidance will not descend upon any of my descendants, as I have no children, and have no members of my biological family who believe in me, so no one will be able to claim to be my successor. My successor will be the Universal House of Justice, starting with the second International Baha'i Council where I have placed my crown of divine guidance. Like Shoghi Effendi, I have a liaison officer to lend my spirituality and divine guidance to that body, as Shoghi Effendi had done with the first International Baha'i Council. Thus Isaiah (11:6) prophesied that a little child shall lead them (the nations).

In Judaism Moses provided for a microcosm of a macrocosm. In this system He provided that only the high priest could enter the Holy of Holies, the spiritual portion of His Revelation, which is the Shekinah (the presence of God). Then the high priest would go to the ark of the Covenant which represents the physical portion where the Covenant for the physical laws was located, along with the rod of wood which represents the hereditary principle of the Aaronic high priest who presided over both the physical and the spiritual portions of Moses' Revelation.

Later came David, who was king and was over the physical portion of Moses' Revelation, and Zadok, the high priest who presided over the spiritual portion. They were both of the rod of wood, both hereditary.

Then came Jesus, the Christ, who was a king (Davidic)--depending on heredity, and the high priest after the order of Melchizedek--not depending on heredity, which is a much

greater priesthood than the Aaronic priesthood of Moses.

This high priesthood comes only once every two thousand years. Adam was Zedek. Shem, who came two thousand years later, was after the order of Zedek, or Melchizedek who was both king and priest. Then came David who was king, and Zadok was the high priest. Jesus of Nazareth, who came two thousand years after Shem, was a Davidic king and a high priest after the order of Melchizedek (Hebrews 6:20). In just a few years it will be two thousand years from the birth of Jesus Christ. Baha'u'llah came as the second Christ and I come as the High Priest.

By my fulfilling the prophecies for the fourth coming of Jesus (God with us) as the high priest, beginning my ministry on April 21, 1963, with being opposed by Satan, I enter into the Holy of Holies (the Shekinah--the presence of God), the spiritual portion of Baha'u'llah's Revelation, protecting it from anyone trying to set themselves up as an administrator over the WORD, like a Pope or clergy class.

Every Revelation of God consist of these two parts. The first part, which is spiritual, is revealed by each Manifestation and is the same, as these are the Attributes and Qualities of God, which are the same eternally. It is only the second part of their message that is progressive, and each is different from the other. Each emphasizes a different aspect.

For instance, Moses brought the Law, Krishna--detachment, Zoroaster--purity, Buddha--enlightenment, Jesus--love, Muhammad--submission and Baha'u'llah--justice. In order to have world peace absolute justice is essential. The world has never had justice before, and thus confusion and wars have plagued mankind during the entire Adamic cycle.

The basis of justice that makes it true justice, is that the House of Justice which administers the Law must be infallible. Without infallibility there could never be real justice nor would there be any real peace. Baha'u'llah provided for two infallible persons and the infallible House of Justice to succeed Him. That is why Baha'u'llah, the Prince of Peace (Is. 9:6,7), conferred infallibility on His House of Justice (SAQ p.199), as delineated by 'Abdu'l-Baha, set up by Shoghi Effendi in embryonic form, and now being established in this world as a little child by the fourth coming of Jesus the high priest. This high priest, alone, is standing in the Holy of Holies (the presence of God) before the Ark of the Covenant of Baha'u'llah, reestablishing what the Covenant-breakers threw out: the Constitution of the International Baha'i Council that is to last for a half-million years. And I now stand in opposition to your creation of a Popery in the Baha'i faith.

You have a split personality, schizophrenia, a delusional formation, like delusions of grandeur, delusion of persecution, a retreat from reality, conflicting emotions and a deterioration of your personality. You know you are the guardian, the president of the UHJ, but you don't like this position, because you would have to learn the Baha'i Revelation, so you created a fantasy of a position above the guardianship. This took place a long time ago, during Mason Remey's time. You had him create a decoy, Donald Harvey, to be the guardian, so you could act out your fantasy. You just recently gave this fantasy a name, "Repository of Divine Infallible Guidance." You patterned this delusion after that of the Papacy, who was above the kings, who could set up kings and seat them on the throne, or he could topple them off of their throne. You gave yourself away when in your letter you stated that you could appoint guardians:

between the Administration & Spiritual Heads of the faith. A time may come when the Administrative work may be so vast, the Spiritual Successor will not be able to serve as "Guardian". He [the spiritual head] may appoint one, two or more Guardians to oversee different aspects of the Administrative Order. What is wrong with that?

What is wrong with that, is that its sick. There are not two Heads of the faith. There is only one head of the faith and that is the Universal House of Justice, with the guardian as its president. The Covenant-breakers created a headless monster UHJ. Now you create another monster, a twoheaded monster, both are wrong. You go on to say: "There can only beOne Repository of Divine Infallible Guidance at any one time..." What you are saying here is that your Covenant-breaking man-made two headedmonster would continue to exist after your passing. Like the Covenant-breaking "Hands" have their man-made headless monster continuing to exist. Both are Covenant-breaking. Both are very sick and for the fire!

Because of your delusions of grandeur you turn away from the guidance of the one sent to save you.

What you were proposing--from what I deemed, from what you wrote--is the reestablishment of Popery, like in the Catholic Church that created popery, as it was not part of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. He left twelve apostles to succeed him, but not a Pope. This is a corruption. You are proposing to introduce this corruption of Popery into the Baha'i Faith. Baha'u'llah did away with all of this corruption once and for all when He abolished the clergy completely--including Popery. Absolutely no one is to preside over the spiritual aspect of the Word, except His son, the Most Great Branch. Baha'u'llah has decreed that no one at all--after 'Abdu'l-Baha, who is the delineator of Baha'u'llah's writings and the perfect exemplar of the Baha'i Faith--is to be over the spiritual part of His Revelation. Everyone is to read the WORDS of the spiritual portion of His Revelation for themselves with no intermediator between them and the spiritual portion. J.E. Esselmont, in Baha'u'llah and the New Era sums it up in short for our understanding:

One other feature of the Baha'i organization must be specially mentioned, and that is the absence of a professional priesthood [this includes Popery]. Voluntary contributions toward the expenses of teachers are permitted and many devote their whole time to work for the Cause, but all Baha'is are expected to share in the work of teaching, et cetera, according to their opportunity and ability, and there is no special class [spiritual heads of the faith] distinguished from their fellow believers by exclusive exercise of priestly functions and prerogatives.

In former ages priesthoods were necessary, because people were illiterate and uneducated and were dependent on priests [and Popes] for their religious instruction, for the conduct of religious rites and ceremonies, for the administration of justice, et cetera. Now however, times have changed. Education is fast becoming universal, and if the commands of Baha'u'llah are carried out, every boy and girl in the world will receive a sound education. Each individual will then be able to study the scriptures for himself, direct from the fountain-head. Elaborate rites and ceremonies, requiring the service of a special profession or cast, have no place in the Baha'i system,and the administration of justice is entrusted to the authorities instituted for that purpose.

For a child a teacher is necessary, but the aim of the true teacher is to fit his pupil to do without a teacher; to see things with his own eyes, hear with his own ears, and understand with his own mind. Just so, in the childhood of the race, the priest is necessary, but his real work is to enable men to do without him: to see things divine with their own eyes, hear them with their own ears and understand them with their own minds. Now the priest's work is all but accomplished, and the aim of the Baha'i teaching is to complete that work, to make men independent of all save God, so that they can turn directly to Him, that is, to His Manifestation. When all turn to one Center, then there can be no cross-purposes or confusion and the nearer all draw to the Center, the nearer they will draw to each other. [Baha'u'llah and the New Era,Chapter 8, sub-title No Professional Priesthood]

There is no way that you could possibly give any kind of Baha'i guidance, spiritual or otherwise, for you have practically no understanding of the Baha'i Revelation. You haven't even mastered the rudimentary concepts of the faith, much less a role of Divine Guidance. Shoghi Effendi, in his great wisdom, must have contemplated this situation and thus provided for a vice-presidency on his International Baha'i Council, and a liaison officer between him and the Council-- although Mason Remey was the president and a member of that Council--so they wouldn't go astray with some heretic dogma. Shoghi Effendi undoubtedly envisioned Mason Remey's son would occupy this position.

I have set up this Council after the pattern that Shoghi Effendi put forth, with the necessary corrections of having my 12 apostles to be its membership, being the gates that every one must pass through to enter the Kingdom, and thus conforming to the Plan of God as recorded in the 21st chapter of Revelation. This was explained by 'Abdu'l-Baha in The Selected Writings of 'Abdu'l-Baha pages 165-167 and is recorded in my article The Four Veils of Daniel. God has sent me, His Son, to be your mentor, to guide you, protect you, save you, and resurrect you.

This letter is not meant to be offensive, but to tell it as it is. This is for your edification, so you can take your place in the scheme of things in God's Plan, and gain that high station that God has set aside for you. If you could possibly get a different station--or one of your own making--other than what God has set aside for you, you would be, eternally, most miserable. Be happy! God wants all people to be happy. The reason some are not happy is they want that which is not good for them.

My prayers are with you for your complete recovery, and for the speedy triumph of the Cause of God. I remain your friend whether you know that or not.
