Module 2 Goals Module 2 introduces early childhood development in the context of relationships. In this in-person workshop, you will learn how to use the developmental perspective to understand how responsive, caring, consistent relationships and environments pave the way for secure attachments and resilient children.
Learning Objectives
After completing Module 2, CASAs will be able to:
Understand how the interaction between child and parent/caregiver impact the child’s early brain development
Define and identify attachment styles
Know how attachment styles can support or hinder a child’s development
Recognize the importance of the development of self-regulation
Understand the cycle of rupture and repair
