Ingredients:
1 cup chopped onion
2 tomatoes, chopped
10 cashewnuts
4 garlic pods
1/2" ginger
1/4 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp corriander powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
2 tsp butter
1 cup milk or half and half
1 tsp dried methi leaves
1 tsp sugar
1/2 cup sliced green bell pepper
2 cups paneer, cut into cubes
Method:
- Soak cashew in water for 15min and grind it to a smooth paste
- Grind onion, ginger,garlic into paste and keep aside
- Melt butter in the Sauce pan and add ground onion paste.
- Saute till the raw smell goes out.
- Add milk slowly and mix well. Keep stirring for 2 min.
- Add chilli powder and salt. Allow the mixture to boil.
- Add cashewnut paste and mix well for 2 min.
- Add ground tomatoes and all masala powders.
- Add water if it is too thick.
- Cover and cook for 10 min.
- Meanwhile, soak paneer in warm water.
- Open the lid and add paneer, bell pepper and dries methi leaves.
- Cover and cook for 10 min.
- Now add sugar and check the salt for your taste.
- Switch off and drizzle some melted butter on panner butter masala.
