1 cup rava
1 cup rice flour
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp Jeera
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
2 tsp black pepper
3 green chillies
1 cup chopped onion
curry leaves
water
salt
oil
- Combine rava, rice flour, all purpose flour and salt.
- Add water and make it watery like buttermilk.
- Break the pepper in mortor and pestle.
- Heat oil in the pan and add mustard seeds.
- When it splutters, add jeera, pepper, chilly, onion and curry leaves in this order.
- Then add this onion mixture to rava batter and mix well.
- Pour 1 cup batter in hot tava and drizzle the edges with oil.
- when the edges turns brown, then its time to flip over.
- Then cook for 2 mins and its ready to serve.
Note:
Make dosa once you prepared the batter. Don't leave it more than 15min because the batter will become thick.
If it happens, then add some water and make it thin.
Always maintain the temperature between hot and medium when you make dosa.
